Fratzke Commercial Real Estate Advisors, Inc. is pleased to announce the newest tenant in the Jackpine Industrial Complex: Waterman Distillery, home of award-winning Gompers Gin! Waterman Distillery leased 6,832 +/- SF of space and will be open to the public later this year. They will offer a tasting room, merchandise store and distillery. This will be a great addition to the east side of Redmond and the Jackpine Industrial Complex.
“We have been looking for the appropriate property in Redmond to build our new distillery for three years,” said Jessica Hart, co-owner of Waterman Distillery. “We are so excited we finally found it! Redmond is growing so quickly, and we want our distillery to be a destination for locals and visitors. We named Gompers Gin after my grandfather, Herman Gompers, a Holocaust survivor from Holland. We are proud to announce our new distillery, Waterman Distillery, is named after my grandmother and Herman’s wife, Deborah Waterman, also a Holocaust survivor from Holland. Waterman Distillery will be the first distillery in Redmond, and home to award-winning Gompers Gin and other Gompers Spirits. Visitors will be transported back to the time right before Prohibition in the tasting room and distillery. It will be a place where people can come and learn more about the art of distilling and the stories behind Waterman Distillery and Gompers Gin while making new friends and relaxing with great conversation. Our location to downtown, beautiful design, and a building complex including Porter Brewing, a Dry Fields Cider tasting room and Bad Boys Barbecue food truck make Waterman Distillery a definite destination in Central Oregon.”
