Dan Steelhammer
Dan Steelhammer is a native Central Oregonian. Dan practiced law in Eugene and then in Bend for 15 years before changing careers to real estate. He has been an active Central Oregon Realtor since 1997, specializing in Commercial Properties throughout Central Oregon but also in other parts of the state. Multifamily sales, industrial buildings and land, and office sales and leasing are his primary areas of focus, involving properties in Redmond, Bend, Madras, Prineville and Sisters. His office is in Bend, Deschutes County, Oregon. He has over two decades of extensive experience in both sales (representing both buyers and sellers) and leasing (representing both landlords and tenants).
Dan is the current Broker of Record for the City of Redmond and has been in that role since 2017. He has provided site control services for the City of Madras (right of way acquisitions) the Madras Redevelopment Commission; the Bend-La Pine School District, Culver School District, Housing Works, First Community Credit Union (statewide site acquisition and sales) the Deschutes Public Library (leasing and consulting) and several not-for-profit organizations. He is familiar with processes that require board or council approval and attendance at council and committee meetings. He understands that confidentiality is crucial to your needs, and has years of experience keeping confidences. Understanding how the needs of both sides to a transaction must be addressed is one of the keys to his success in putting complicated transactions together.
Dan is a member and past President of Mt. Bachelor Rotary, is past President of the Central Oregon Rental Owners Association, is an Ambassador for ShelterBox USA, and is currently on the Board of Directors for Central Electric Cooperative. He enjoys fly fishing, the occasional round of bad golf, hiking, and being outdoors in Central Oregon.
